The 2024 VW Atlas trades its previous four-cylinder and VR6 engines for a new 2.0-liter turbo-four with 269 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque. The new powerplant brings improved torque and acceleration over the outgoing mills and better fuel economy than the VR6.
Revised Style
VW has refreshed the 2024 Atlas's design for greater differentiation from its smaller Atlas Cross Sport sibling. The bold front fascia features a wide four-bar grille framed by LED headlights and unique wraparound DRLs. Newly standard steering-adaptive headlights swivel with the steering wheel, providing better visibility when cornering. And all but the base trim get an illuminated lightbar and VW logo for a premium, eye-catching look.
